SHIP HULL FITTER

Qualifications:

• Work experience in sections and blocks assembly at pre-erection, hull assembly stages;
• Experience of side shell, flat, volume sections assembling and blocks erection;
• Ability to read drawings (ability to scale, identify and evaluate other engineering systems, etc.);
• Ability to read technical symbols (production drawings) for hull welding;
• Knowledge of standards used in shipbuilding (IACS, 5817, ISO 8501-3, etc.);
• Knowledge of English/Russian; Responsibility, diligence

Responsibilities:

• Section assembly – flat panels, T-bars, side shell and volume section assembling.
• Block erection on pre-erection stage
• Hull erection in dry dock – Straightening of the ship hull: decks, bulkheads, shell.
• Prefabrication and installation of various types of steel outfitting

Requirements:

• Must have valid passport
• Detailed RESUME
• Certificate of Employment ( if available)
