Seamstress

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years work experience
• A seamstress or tailors who sews clothing and others

Responsibilities:

• Understand, meet, and exceed company’s quality standards Set up, maintain, and troubleshoot sewing machines
• Use computer-aided design software to create patterns and adjust garments
• Create, maintain, and update garment
• Seamstresses alter, mend, modify and construct garments and other articles according to customers’ specifications and needs
• Mend garments Gather materials Cut fabric Modify garments Evaluate fit Maintain inventory Clean and sanitize work area Use sewing machine, cutting equipment, and overlock machine

Required Documents:

• Original passport and copy
• 2 sets of updated resume (with picture)
• Copy of Certificate of Employment
• Diploma (if any)
