RESTAURANT WAITSTAFF/CUSTOMER SERVICE

Qualifications:

• Fluency in English, both written and spoken, Excellent communication skills. Intelligent and quick learner
• An overall pleasing and well-groomed appearance, (no facial piercings., no visible tattoos, no criminal record)
• Recognizes the importance of providing excellent customer service (Previous experience in the hospitality industry is considered an advantage)
• Demonstrated interest in learning the Japanese language, Understanding of culture and diversity. (Ability to speak the Japanese language is considered an advantage)

Responsibilities:

• Welcoming guests and escorting them to their tables.
• Attending to guests, accurately recording their food and beverage preferences, and noting any special dietary requirements or allergies.
• Delivering orders to the table promptly and accurately.
• Checking in with guests throughout their meals to ensure their satisfaction and anticipating their needs
• Presenting the bill to guests, and accurately processing payment
• Assisting with table setting and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area.
• Assisting colleagues when necessary and fostering a positive work environment.
• Familiarity with proper etiquette and protocols in restaurants
• +Contribute to the cleanliness of kitchen and dining areas
