REFRIGERATED TRUCK TECHNICIAN

Qualifications

• With minimum 2 years of proven experience as a Transport Refrigeration Technician or equivalent experience.
• Those with commercial/residential air and/or refrigeration, welding and mechanic skills are a plus.
• Competent on the repairs and diagnostics on starting and charging system, cooling and re- charge, and electrical including common fault codes.
• Repairs include: performing leak detection procedures, compressor replacements, soldering refrigerant line
• Competent in the maintenance of Refrigerated Trucks in accordance with manufacturer specifications.
• Keen on identification and acquisition of necessary replacement parts as needed to execute repairs.
• Flexible and able to promote a positive attitude within the team.
• Must have a Valid Professional Driver’s License.

Responsibilities:

• Perform repairs and diagnostics on starting and charging system, cooling and re-charge, and electrical including common fault codes.
• Repairs include: performing leak detection procedures, compressor replacements, soldering refrigerant lines, evaporate
• Perform repair and maintenance on reefer units in accordance with manufacturer’s specifications.
• Identify and obtain necessary replacement parts as needed to execute repairs
• Must be able to diagnose and perform proper repairs
