Production Supervisor/Foreman

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum of 5 years work experience
• Knowledgeable in familiarization with the company’s major production procedure and flow, timely respond and deal with production emergencies.
• Knowledgeable in computer operation, ISO management system and with ability in communication and coordination.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Production foreman is accountable to the production manager of AlQahtani through regular reporting on the implementation of the production activities. Completion of assigned job. Key performance targets.
• Production foreman have an authority to make decisions and act on any matter regarding conformance and integrity of production activities within area of responsibility

Main responsibility but not limited to:

• Controlling all activities on Pipe Mill and ensuring pipe quality is as required standard
• Supervising and allocation of labour
• Supervising internal skelp set-up and weding operation
• Supervising mill set-up and forming operations
• Coordinating reporting activities and ensuring approved working procedure are implemented at all stations marking of mechanical samples and cutting macro samples for the laboratory
• Assisting the mill supervisors
• Informing mill supervisors of any machinery issues
• Monitor and supervise general house keeping
• Undertake periodic training to improve competency
