PHYSICAL THERAPIST
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s/College Degree in Physical Therapy or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant working experience is required.
- Professional experience in physical therapy, rehabilitation, or a related clinical healthcare setting.
- Knowledge of physical assessment, movement dysfunction, therapeutic exercise, rehabilitation, and patient mobility.
- Ability to assess patients’ functional limitations and develop appropriate individualized treatment programs.
- Experience providing therapeutic exercises, stretching, movement coaching, and manual therapy.
- Strong understanding of pain management, mobility restoration, functional rehabilitation, and disability prevention.
- Ability to establish specific and measurable treatment goals and monitor patient progress.
- Good clinical judgment, analytical skills, and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to explain treatment procedures and exercises clearly to patients.

- Ability to work effectively with patients of different physical abilities and rehabilitation needs.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with doctors, nurses, therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities:
- Review patients’ medical histories, diagnoses, treatment records, and relevant health information before providing therapy.
- Assess patients’ physical condition, mobility, strength, flexibility, balance, coordination, and functional abilities.
- Observe functional movements such as walking, standing, sitting, lifting, and other activities to identify physical limitations.
- Identify and assess movement dysfunctions, physical impairments, pain, and mobility-related problems.
- Develop individualized physical therapy and rehabilitation programs based on each patient’s condition and treatment goals.
- Establish specific, measurable, and achievable treatment and recovery goals in consultation with patients.
- Guide patients through therapeutic exercises designed to improve strength, flexibility, balance, coordination, and range of motion.
- Provide stretching, strengthening, mobility, and functional movement exercises according to individual treatment plans.
- Perform appropriate hands-on manual therapy techniques to support pain management, mobility, and functional recovery.
- Provide movement coaching and educate patients on proper body mechanics and safe movement techniques.
- Use specialized physical therapy equipment and rehabilitation tools appropriately and safely.
- Monitor patients’ responses to treatment and adjust therapy programs based on their progress and changing needs.
- Track patients’ recovery, functional improvements, treatment outcomes, and rehabilitation milestones.
- Document patient assessments, treatment plans, therapy sessions, progress, and outcomes accurately.
- Educate patients and their families or caregivers regarding prescribed exercises, home programs, injury prevention, and safe physical activity.
- Encourage patients to actively participate in their rehabilitation programs and follow recommended treatment plans.
- Modify exercises and treatment techniques when patients experience pain, difficulty, or changes in physical condition.
- Coordinate with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, rehabilitation professionals, and other healthcare team members when necessary.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with professional healthcare standards and facility policies.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized therapy and rehabilitation environment.
- Follow appropriate infection-control, patient-safety, and workplace procedures.
- Perform other professional physical therapy and rehabilitation duties assigned by management.
