Vanuatu Fresh Produce is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Multiskilled Master Electrician to join our team in Vanuatu. The successful candidate will be responsible for electrical installations, maintenance, refrigeration and air conditioning systems, renewable energy solutions, project management, and supervising technical teams.

The role requires a hands-on professional who can work independently, manage multiple projects, provide technical leadership, and ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with industry standards.

MULTISKILLED MASTER ELECTRICIAN

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant working experience as an electrician or in a similar technical role.
• Must possess a Vocational Diploma / Short Course Certificate in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic), Engineering (Industrial), or a related field.
• Hold relevant electrical trade qualifications and licenses.
• Proven experience in electrical installation, maintenance, and repair.
• Strong experience with refrigeration and air conditioning systems.
• Experience with solar energy systems, including solar panels, inverters, battery storage, and renewable energy installations.
• Demonstrated experience in project management and team leadership.
• Knowledge of electrical systems, diagnostics, and fault finding.
• Familiarity with software applications and basic programming.
• Ability to work independently, adapt to changing environments, and perform duties in remote locations.

Responsibilities:

• Carry out electrical installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair works.
• Install, diagnose, service, and maintain refrigeration and air conditioning systems.
• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot solar panel systems, inverters, and battery storage systems.
• Lead and supervise on-site team members to ensure projects are completed safely and to a high standard.
• Manage subcontractors and coordinate daily site activities.
• Plan, manage, and complete projects from initial preparation through final completion.
• Troubleshoot electrical, refrigeration, and mechanical faults efficiently.
• Coordinate materials, work schedules, and project reporting requirements.
• Manage the company shopfront, including customer enquiries, scheduling, stock coordination, and daily operations.
• Provide technical guidance, training, and mentoring support to junior staff.
• Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety requirements, electrical regulations, and industry standards.
• Use relevant software and basic programming tools as required for technical operations and reporting.
