Mechanical Engineer

Qualifications:

• Male applicants
• Minimum of 3 years work experience
• Must be a Licensed as a professional engineer

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for carrying out complex maintenance and repair of any and all mechanical and air-conditioning and associated equipment included in the contract/project.
• Ensure that all maintenance procedures and works, either corrective or planned, are carried out in full accordance with the standards and codes in place for the project.
• Assign task to technicians, control and monitor work progress and technician performance on an ongoing basis.
• Arrange, plan and oversee the implementation of both corrective and planned maintenance.
• Liaise and co-operate fully with the electrical and other engineers to ensure timely and efficient completion of works.
• Monitor and control Company expenses while ensuring that sufficient stocks of frequently used spares are held in controlled stores.
• Ensure that all administrative/paperwork systems and procedures are adhered to.
• Update the project/chief engineer on a regular basis.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and computer-generated reports
