MARINE MECHANIC

Job Description:

• Duties and responsibilities include rigging, general maintenance, and services on Suzuki, Yamaha Outboard Motors.
• Applicants should be capable of accurately diagnosing and repairing failed engine issues in an efficient manner, keeping precise records of work performed, and adhering to company work safety policies.
• Technicians should be familiar with and able to use Suzuki & Yamaha’s websites to assess different engine models and locate parts.
• Applicants should have a full complement of tools to facilitate repairs on any Suzuki, Yamaha Outboard Motor.
• This is a full-time position with the possibility of overtime if necessary.
• Applicants should have strong communication skills and the ability to work well with others.
• Rigging, Maintenance, Services, and Diagnostics:
• Rig new vessels & engines and perform repairs in coordination with our customers.
• Perform scheduled services on Suzuki, Yamaha Outboards
• Perform inspections of customers’ vessel and recommend necessary service
• Diagnose and test mechanical and electrical failures on customer vessels
• Repair vessel issues effectively and efficiently
• Sea trial customer vessels as necessary
