Instrument Technician II

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 4–6 years of relevant experience in instrumentation maintenance or related fields.
• Experience in routine maintenance and repair work within petrochemical plants, fertilizer plants, refineries, chemical plants, and Oil & Gas facilities.
• Strong knowledge of industrial instrumentation systems, control systems, calibration, and troubleshooting procedures.
• Ability to interpret instrument drawings, technical manuals, and engineering documents.
• Experience using calibration tools and instrumentation testing equipment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to perform maintenance activities safely and efficiently.
• Knowledge of industrial safety standards and maintenance practices.

Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of instrumentation systems, control devices, and field instruments.
• Conduct troubleshooting, testing, calibration, and repair of industrial instrumentation equipment.
• Diagnose instrument faults and implement effective corrective actions to minimize equipment downtime.
• Assist in the installation, modification, testing, and commissioning of instrumentation systems.
• Ensure instruments and control systems operate according to technical specifications and safety standards.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, work reports, and technical documentation.
• Follow company procedures, safety requirements, and industry maintenance practices.
• Coordinate with engineers, technicians, and operations teams to support efficient plant operations.
