Instrument Technician I

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 4–6 years of relevant experience in instrumentation maintenance or related fields.
  • Experience in routine maintenance and repair work within petrochemical plants, fertilizer plants, refineries, chemical plants, and Oil & Gas facilities.
  • Strong knowledge of industrial instrumentation systems, control devices, calibration procedures, and troubleshooting practices.
  • Ability to read technical drawings, instrument diagrams, and maintenance documents.
  • Experience using instrumentation testing and calibration equipment.
  • Good problem-solving skills and ability to work safely in an industrial environment.
  • Knowledge of safety procedures and maintenance standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of instrumentation systems, equipment, and control devices.
  • Conduct routine inspection, testing, calibration, and troubleshooting of field instruments.
  • Repair and maintain instrumentation equipment to ensure continuous and reliable operation.
  • Identify instrument faults and perform corrective actions to minimize equipment downtime.
  • Assist in installation, modification, testing, and commissioning of instrumentation systems.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records, service reports, and technical documentation.
  • Follow approved maintenance procedures, safety regulations, and company standards.
  • Coordinate with engineering, operations, and maintenance teams to support efficient plant performance.
