INSTRUMENT FITTER

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of work experience as an Instrument Fitter or in a similar role
• Experience in Oil & Gas or Petrochemical plants
• Proficient in tubing, fittings, and instrument installation techniques
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and P&IDs
• Detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and reliable

Responsibilities:

• Install and mount field instruments such as pressure, temperature, level, and flow instruments according to approved drawings
• Execute instrument hook-up works including stainless steel (SS) tubing, impulse lines, manifolds, fittings, and supports
• Perform proper tubing bending, cutting, flaring, and ferrule fitting according to project specifications
• Install instrument stanchions, brackets, junction boxes, cable trays, and supports
• Read and interpret P&IDs, hook-up drawings, and general arrangement (GA) drawings
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and quality standards
• Collaborate with project and engineering teams to meet schedules and specifications

• E‑Registration Printout (DMW eReg) – A printed copy of your DMW online profile/E‑Registration; a key document used to verify your information with job orders.
