Aureol Global Connections is seeking experienced Commercial / Industrial Electricians to join electrical installation projects in Ireland. The successful candidates will be responsible for installing, testing, terminating, and maintaining electrical systems in commercial and industrial facilities while ensuring compliance with electrical standards, engineering drawings, and workplace safety regulations.

Commercial/Industrial Electrician

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience as a Commercial or Industrial Electrician.
• Proven experience in commercial, industrial, manufacturing, or construction electrical installations.
• Strong ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and technical specifications.
• Experienced in installing conduit systems, cable containment, distribution boards, and electrical panels.
• Skilled in cable pulling, cable glanding, cable termination, and electrical testing.
• Experience installing lighting systems, small power, CCTV, fire alarm, and public address systems.
• Knowledge of electrical safety regulations, installation standards, and best practices.
• Proficient in the use of electrical hand tools, testing instruments, and power tools.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Good English communication skills.

Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, layouts, and specifications to plan and execute electrical installations.
• Install lighting fixtures, switches, socket outlets, spur units, isolator switches, distribution boards (DBs), and cable glands.
• Install conduit systems, including EMT, RSC, and PVC conduits, together with all associated fittings and accessories.
• Install and support cable trays, cable trunks, cable ladders, and related containment systems.
• Fabricate cable trays, cable trunking, and mounting supports when required.
• Pull, route, and secure electrical power, control, communication, and instrumentation cables of various sizes.
• Perform cable glanding and termination for SWA (Steel Wire Armoured) and unarmored cables.
• Mount, wire, and terminate distribution boards, electrical panels, and associated control equipment.
• Install and wire lighting systems, small power circuits, fire alarm systems, public address (PA) systems, and CCTV systems.
• Conduct continuity checks, insulation resistance testing, and other electrical testing to ensure safe operation.
• Troubleshoot electrical faults and perform repairs or corrective maintenance when required.
• Ensure all electrical work complies with project specifications, electrical codes, and Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) requirements.
• Maintain accurate installation records and coordinate with engineers, supervisors, and multidisciplinary project teams.
• Perform other electrical installation and maintenance duties assigned by management.
