Radisson Blu Hotel, Doha Qatar is now hiring for the below positions:

HEAD BAKER

Qualifications:

• Male applicants are preferred
• Minimum of 3 years work experience
• Diploma or certification in Baking & Pastry Arts; HACCP/Food Safety certification required.
• Minimum 3/ 4 years in the same position in a FOUR TO FIVE star hotel or in a professional bakery.
• Expertise in bread-making, viennoiserie, artisan loaves, pastries, and specialty baked goods.
• Strong skills in product presentation, display setup, and visual appeal of baked items.
• Creative flair in themed bakery displays, buffet presentations, and bakery counters.
• Ability to design and execute bakery concepts for à la carte menus, buffets, and events.
• Familiarity with modern baking trends, decorative techniques, and regional/international bakery styles.
• Proven ability to lead, train, and motivate a bakery team, maintaining high standards of quality and consistency
• Proficient in menu planning, production scheduling, cost control, and inventory management.
• Strong understanding of ingredient functionality, fermentation, proofing, and baking techniques.
• High attention to hygiene, cleanliness, and HACCP compliance.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills; ability to work under pressure.
• Flexible with shifts, weekends, and holiday work schedules.
• A passionate leader with a “Yes I Can!” attitude and commitment to excellence.
