Fire Truck Steel Fabricator

Qualifications:

•  Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Steel Truck Fabricator or related role.
• Proven ability to operate manual and CNC fabrication equipment safely and efficiently.
• Strong understanding of welding processes and quality standards.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• High level of attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Physically fit and able to perform demanding tasks.
• Reading engineering drawings.

Responsibilities:

• Fabricate steel components for fire trucks according to engineering drawings and specifications.
• Operate manual and CNC equipment, including plasma cutters, shears, benders, and welders.
• Ensure accurate dimensions and quality welds through meticulous attention to detail.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all company safety protocols.
• Work collaboratively with other fabrication team members to meet production deadlines.
• Identify and report any potential issues with materials or processes to supervisors.
• Continuously learn and improve skills to stay updated with the latest fabrication techniques.
• ARC and MIG welding.
• Aluminum, steel and stainless steel welding.
