FAULT TECHNICIAN

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years working experience
• Must have experience in the Automotive Industry particularly in a production setting.
• Proven experience in a food company, preferably working with meats like chicken, frozen foods, pork, beef and feed mill or flourmill.
• Good understanding of the electrical and mechanical components used in production machines within the meat sector, including grinders, presses, conveyors, and weighing devices.
• Solid knowledge of industrial electricity and the ability to work with electrical cabinets.
• For milling candidate preferred with experience in Buhler Machine Bachelor’s degree in Electromechanics/Electricity or equivalent through experience.
• Familiarity with PLC Siemens Step 7 and the capability to perform actions using it.

Responsibilities:

• Repair of electrical, electronic, mechanical, to hydraulic and pneumatic issues, often involving advanced control methods like PLC controls (Siemens S7 and S5), servo controls, hydraulic assemblies, gate monitoring systems, frequency controls, position sensors, and force sensors.
• Responsible for the electromechanical repair, regular maintenance and preventive maintenance of all the production lines (1300 different production machines in total).
