We are looking for a detail-oriented and technically skilled Estimator / Coordinator to support project estimation, coordination, and technical operations. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge in piping systems and mechanical components, along with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Estimator/Coordinator
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant working experience.
- Must hold a Bachelor’s / College Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Male applicants are preferred for this role.
- Strong command of written and spoken English.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license.
- Willing and able to travel across GCC countries when required.
- Strong understanding of piping systems, including materials used in water, sewage, and oil & gas applications.
- Knowledge of valves, pumps, water meters, and related mechanical components.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced level: formulas, VLOOKUP, pivot tables).
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.
- Ability to read technical drawings; Basic AutoCAD skills are required.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare quotations, Bills of Quantities (BOQs), tender submissions, cost breakdowns, and techno-commercial offers.
- Conduct supplier price comparisons and ensure competitive and accurate costing.
- Interpret and analyze MEP and industrial piping drawings.
- Coordinate with suppliers, consultants, and contractors regarding materials, specifications, and project requirements.
- Provide sales and technical support, including material selection and responding to project inquiries.
- Assist in installation, commissioning, and on-site setup of supplied equipment when required.
- Participate in factory product training and assist in conducting basic customer training sessions.
- Maintain organized documentation and manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently.
- Communicate professionally through emails, reports, and presentations.
