SHAFT O & M SERVICES is seeking an experienced Elevator Mechanical Technician to join our team in Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, testing, maintenance, repair, and modernization of elevator systems while ensuring safe and reliable operation in compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
The role requires a technically skilled individual with strong mechanical knowledge, attention to detail, and experience in elevator maintenance and troubleshooting.
ELEVATOR MECHANICAL TECHNICIAN
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of working experience as an Elevator Mechanical Technician or in a related field.
- Must be at least a High School Graduate.
- Technical training or certification in elevator systems, mechanical technology, or a related field is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of elevator mechanical systems, components, and maintenance procedures.
- Experience in elevator installation, testing, troubleshooting, and modernization works.
- Ability to perform preventive maintenance and repair tasks effectively.
- Male applicants are preferred for this role.
Responsibilities:
- Test newly installed elevator equipment to ensure proper operation and compliance with safety regulations.
- Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs to ensure elevators operate safely and reliably.
- Conduct regular maintenance activities, including lubrication of moving parts and replacement of worn components.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues in elevator systems.
- Carry out repairs and adjustments to improve elevator performance and safety.
- Modernize and upgrade older elevator systems to meet current safety standards and technological requirements.
- Inspect elevator components and identify potential issues before equipment failure occurs.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and report completed work and technical findings.
- Follow workplace safety procedures and elevator industry regulations at all times.
