SHAFT O & M SERVICES is seeking a skilled and experienced Elevator Maintenance Technician to join our team in Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will be responsible for the inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of elevator systems to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation in accordance with industry standards.
The ideal candidate has strong mechanical and electrical knowledge, excellent troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
ELEVATOR MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of working experience as an Elevator Maintenance Technician or in a related field.
- Must be at least a High School Graduate.
- Proven work experience as an Elevator Mechanic or Elevator Maintenance Technician.
- Excellent knowledge of elevator mechanical and electrical systems.
- Completion of an apprenticeship or certification program in elevator repair and maintenance is an advantage.
- Strong troubleshooting, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Male applicants are preferred for this role.
Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive maintenance and routine inspections on elevator systems and related equipment.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults to ensure safe and reliable operation.
- Conduct troubleshooting and corrective maintenance on elevators, escalators, and lifting equipment as required.
- Replace or repair defective components, including motors, control systems, switches, cables, and other mechanical parts.
- Test elevator systems after maintenance or repairs to verify proper operation and compliance with safety standards.
- Maintain accurate service, maintenance, and repair records.
- Respond promptly to service calls and emergency breakdowns.
- Ensure all maintenance work complies with workplace safety regulations and company procedures.
- Coordinate with supervisors and team members to complete maintenance schedules efficiently.
- Keep tools, equipment, and work areas clean and organized.
