Electrical/Control Engineer

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience working with power plant-related equipment, including design, procurement, operation, or maintenance.
• At least a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Instrumentation, and other related fields.

Responsibilities:

• Basic knowledge of electrical equipment, including low-, high-, and extra-high-voltage distribution equipment, transformers, DC power supply systems, emergency power generation systems, uninterruptible power supply (UPS) systems, AVR, etc.
• Experience in electrical calculations, including short-circuit current and voltage drop analysis, and preparation of impedance maps.
• Basic knowledge of protective relays for switchyards, generators, and auxiliary power systems.
• Ability to create single-line diagrams and interlock diagrams, and read detailed wiring/connection diagrams.
• Experience with DCS, including software design, modification, and operation. Manufacturer experience is not required.
• Ability to understand and create signal communication based on system configuration diagrams.
• Ability to create instrumentation system diagrams from P&I diagrams, with basic knowledge of instrumentation and control.
• Ability to create interlock diagrams for turbine protection, auxiliary equipment, and GOV based on operation plans
• Ability to create detailed wiring/connection diagrams (sequences) from interlock diagrams and instrumentation system diagrams.
• Experience in MICREX software design (experience with other PLC systems is also acceptable).
• Experience designing AVR and GOV circuits.
• Experience selecting and reviewing settings for protective relays for turbines and generators.

Requirements:

• Must have a valid passport for more than 3 years
• Employment certificates
• NBI clearance valid for at least 1 year with “no derogatory / no record on file” remarks
• PEOS certificate
