Abdullah A Al Barrak & Sons Co. is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Design Engineer to join its engineering team in Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing engineering solutions for pressure vessels, storage tanks, and heat exchangers while ensuring compliance with international standards and project specifications.

Design Engineer

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant working experience as a Design Engineer or in a similar engineering role.
• Must be a holder of a Professional License (Passed Board/Professional License Examination).
• Experience in the design and engineering of pressure vessels, storage tanks, and heat exchangers is required.
• Strong knowledge of ASME, API, and TEMA standards.
• Ability to prepare complete engineering deliverables and technical documentation.
• Good communication skills and sound working knowledge of engineering design practices.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical skills.
• Ability to work independently and effectively in a project-based environment.
• Male applicants are preferred for this role.

Responsibilities:

• Perform design and engineering activities for pressure vessels, storage tanks, and heat exchangers in accordance with ASME, API, and TEMA standards.
• Prepare engineering calculations, design documents, drawings, and technical specifications.
• Review project requirements and develop complete engineering deliverables based on client specifications.
• Integrate all design documents into comprehensive project engineering packages.
• Coordinate with project managers, fabrication teams, and other engineering disciplines to ensure design accuracy and project requirements are met.
• Conduct design reviews and provide technical support during fabrication and project execution.
• Ensure all designs comply with applicable codes, safety requirements, and quality standards.
• Resolve technical issues related to design, fabrication, and engineering documentation.
• Maintain proper documentation and records of design calculations, revisions, and approvals.
• Communicate effectively with internal teams, clients, and project stakeholders.
