DC Motor Rewinder
Qualifications:
- Male applicants are preferred
- Minimum of 5 years work experience
- Preferably with experience in Generators
Responsibilities:
- Inspect alternators for electrical/mechanical faults (ground faults, shorted turns, overheats, bearing failure).
- Record winding data: wire gauge, turns/coil, coil pitch, slot fill, connections (star/delta), phase grouping, lead tags.
- Safely strip windings (burn-out/oven or mechanical), clean core, check laminations and slots for damage/shorts.
- Fabricate/form coils; install slot liners, inter-turn insulation, phase separators, wedges, and lacing.
- Rewind stators (random or form-wound) and rotors (including slip-ring types and brushless excitation assemblies).
- Repair/replace rotating rectifier diodes (for brushless excitation) and verify correct orientation.
