Dairy Farm Worker / Milker

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years work experience
• Must be a Vocational Diploma / Short Course Certificate holder in Agriculture or similar fields.
• Keeping accurate herd records for all aspects of dairy production

Job Description:

• Milk cows, treat sick cows, clean stalls/barns, tend calves, and assist with calf births.
• Hoof trimming responsibilities include all dry cow maintenance trims, treating lame cows and diagnosing hoof health issues.
• Experience of all aspects of dairy herd management and day to day livestock tasks to include administering routine treatments
