Crane Technician

Qualifications:

• Must be a technical graduate
• 6+ years experience as a Crane Technician on mobile telescopic or tower cranes
• 2+ years experience working abroad is preferred
• Valid driver’s license.
• Proven experience in electrical and hydraulic system diagnostics and repairs.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics.
• Experience with engine diagnostics and repairs.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
• Ability to work without direct supervision and as part of a team.
• Willingness to travel when needed
• Fluency in English is a must (Spoken and written)

Responsibilities:

• Perform electrical and hydraulic diagnostics and repairs on cranes.
• Read and interpret electrical and hydraulic schematics.
• Carry out routine maintenance and service on all crane types.
• Assist with engine diagnostics and repairs (preferred but not essential).
• Complete accurate documentation: work reports, inspection reports, material requests, and timesheets.
• Work independently and as part of a team.
• Follow all company and client safety protocols.
• Inspecting and checking condition of equipment
• Preventative Maintenance and Repairs
• Reporting any additional/unusual malfunctions, deviations and damages
• Troubleshooting – detecting and resolving technical faults of electrical, hydraulic and mechanical nature.

Requirements:

• Must have a valid passport for more than 3 years
• Employment certificates
• NBI clearance valid for at least 1 year with “no derogatory / no record on file” remarks
• PEOS certificate
