COOK HELPER

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years work experience
• Food Service industrial cooking experience (including safe food handling practices) strongly preferred.
• Valid food handler’s permit or Servesafe certification is required.
• At least one year of experience in a high volume professional kitchen or culinary school environment

Responsibilities

• Preform clean up and sanitation duties in the food preparation area to ensure adequate health standards at all times
• Assist cook with food preparation; Responsible for various aspects of daily menu preparation including
• Maintains a clean, sanitary working environment including work area and equipment.
• And of course any other helpful job the Food services supervisor can find for you!
• Maintain work areas and serving areas in a sanitary manner.
• Provide work direction and guidance to other food service personnel as assigned.
• Additional duties as assigned by Cafeteria Group Leader
• Assures proper equipment use and maintenance
