CNC Machine Programmer
Qualifications:
- High school diploma, technical vocational certificate, or equivalent (preferably in mechanical engineering or CNC technology)
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience programming CNC machines in a production environment
- Proficient in CAM programming and CNC code (G-code/M-code)
- Experience with Siemens, Heidenhain, or Fanuc controllers
- Strong understanding of GD&T, machining principles, and materials
- Attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills
- Good command of English, both written and spoken
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
Responsibilities:
- Develop and optimize CNC programs for 3-, 4-, and 5-axis machines using CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, Siemens NX, SolidCAM, Fusion 360)
- Interpret engineering drawings, CAD files, and technical documentation to create accurate tool paths
- Select appropriate tools, cutting parameters, and machining strategies for various materials
- Simulate and test programs to ensure safety, accuracy, and efficiency
- Coordinate with machine operators and technicians to implement and adjust programs on the shop floor
- Troubleshoot machining problems and revise programs as needed
- Maintain up-to-date documentation, including setup sheets and revision logs
- Collaborate with engineering and quality control teams to ensure compliance with specifications and tolerances
- Contribute to process improvements and cycle time reduction initiatives
Requirements:
- Must have a valid passport for more than 3 years
- Employment certificates
- NBI clearance valid for at least 1 year with “no derogatory / no record on file” remarks
- PEOS certificate
