Grizzly Capital is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Technologist to lead technical operations and drive process excellence within a plastics manufacturing environment in Slovakia. The successful candidate will provide technical leadership in injection molding processes, optimize production performance, and ensure efficient technological preparation and validation of manufacturing operations.

The Chief Technologist will be responsible for improving production processes, supporting troubleshooting activities, ensuring quality standards, and providing expert guidance to technical teams in an injection molding production setting.

CHIEF TECHNOLOGIST

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Plastics Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in plastics manufacturing, with strong expertise in injection molding technology and process optimization.
• Proven experience in a senior technical or leadership role within an injection molding production environment.
• Strong knowledge of injection molding process parameters, mold validation, and technological preparation of production.
• Basic electrical troubleshooting skills, including heater replacement, fuse replacement, and voltage checking.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to lead technical teams and work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee injection molding technology and process optimization initiatives.
• Develop, implement, and improve production processes to enhance efficiency, quality, and productivity.
• Manage technological preparation of production, including process setup, validation, and continuous improvement activities.
• Analyze and optimize injection molding parameters to ensure stable and efficient operations.
• Support mold validation activities and ensure proper implementation of new molds and production technologies.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to production and engineering teams.
• Troubleshoot technical issues related to injection molding equipment and processes.
• Perform basic electrical troubleshooting, including heater replacement, fuse replacement, and voltage checking.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve production challenges.
• Ensure compliance with manufacturing standards and company quality requirements.
