CHIEF SECURITY OFFICER

Qualifications:

• Male Applicants
• Minimum of 5 years work experience

Responsibilities:

• The SS is responsible for complying with all instructions given by the SERC.
• The SS shall plan, supervise and coordinate the overall activity of the security function to ensure effectiveness, discharge of duties and achievements of project security objectives within set norms
• The SS shall contribute to the development, and supervises the implementation of policies, procedures and systems to control access to the project sites and facilities to protect people and assets.
• The SS shall plan and coordinates all security shift schedules to ensure manpower optimization and maximum coverage of all areas of responsibility.
• The SS shall aid the SERC in conducting security surveys and audits to ensure compliance with security programs;
• The SS shall help to identify and report any discrepancies and provide recommendations / corrective action.
• The SS shall assist in the implementation and maintenance of security-related logs, registers, files, records, and reports.
• The SS shall help develop Guards instructions, security / emergency plans, actions on, and other documents pertaining to the physical security of the project.
• (He shall further develop guard post orders relevant to areas such as offices, warehouses, laydown areas, roving guards, camp guards, and mess hall guards).
• The SS shall assist in the investigation of questionable (security related), activities, identify violations, and recommends corrective action through responsible supervision.
• The SS shall assist in the preparation of security presentations for the management team and Company, explaining the project, jobsite, office, or functional/services unit’s physical and procedural safeguards. (When required).
• The SERC shall submit proposals on security improvement and ensure that all necessary services to assure the security and protection of building occupants, project property, equipment, and project personnel from injury.
• The SERC shall conduct investigations (Within his scope), of criminal acts and potential threats against the Projects interests
• The SERC shall coordinate investigative activities with appropriate management, formulates written reports, and presents oral briefings, on security related matters (When requested).
• The SERC shall represent Security Team at meetings and consultations with Company / Contractors / Sub-Contractors representatives, governmental security agencies (As required).
• The SERC shall responsible to ensure that the Security personnel and other project staffs conduct their duties according to security procedures, physical / emergency, and personal protection plans.
• The SS shall be responsible for ensuring security procedures are complied with at all location under his supervisor. as suspect.
