CHEF DE PARTIE (PASTRY / ASIAN DESSERTS)

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 -7 years and above experience working in a similar volume-based business that represents global culture and consistent, approachable and elevated dishes.
• Over five years of experience as a Chef De Partie, with expertise in Korean and Japanese cuisines.
• Culinary-trained professional who is passionate and curious to develop and grow as a Chef
• Expertise in Korean and Japanese desserts.
• Must be a culinary graduate or diploma in culinary arts equivalent

Responsibilities:

• Controlled primary kitchen operations, production and ala carte operations.
• Cooperated with the Sous Chef and Head Chef for the daily menu functions and established a plan.
• Documented all daily reports such as cooling and reheating temperature, food sampling, labelling, and cleaning checklists
• Mentored, empowered and motivated juniors to adhere to Health and Food Safety procedures at all times
• Execute the food quality control to ensure the hotel and restaurant brand standards were followed.
• Supervised preparations of assigned outlet set-up for daily operation to ensure the menus were seasonal and balanced, hot and cold vegetarian, seafood, poultry, and meat dishes.
• Oversees the primary kitchen and ala carte operations.
• United and coordinated with the Sous Chef for the daily tasks assigned
• Documented all daily reports such as Hygiene procedures, Food labelling, and food storage processing.
• Assessed daily food quality control according to the restaurant/hotel’s standards and guidelines.
• Minimised market lists to ensure the food costs are reduced

• Valid passport ( 2 years validity)

• Certificate of Employment
