CHEF DE PARTIE

Qualifications:

• Male applicants are preferred
• Minimum of 5 years work experience

Responsibilities:

• Assigning the responsibilities of cooking and food preparation to the Demi chefs based on the daily sheet (issued from executive chef) under supervision of Sous and Head Pastry chef.
• Participates in, and supervises in the preparation of all Dish Garnishes according to the sheet issued by the Executive chef.
• Observes and taste food being cooked, sample all foods prepared to make sure the kitchen team meet all the requirements of food.
• Ensures that all bakery products are dispatched to the event’s location for service in accordance with established standards of presentation.
• Ensures that all Bakery products are visually attractive and eye appealing.
• Check daily function sheets and daily menu to ensure production level of bakery products as consistent with needs of Events schedule.
• Ensure that all events are supplied with their requirements of Bakery products as mentioned in the pastry card
• Ensure meats and poultry to be carved are done in a correct manner and waste is avoided.
• Monitoring the hygienist and sanitation for the kitchen team and make sure they fulfil all the safety food requirements.
• Assist the Chef to prepare the “Buffet set up” in coordination with responsible team from kitchen and other departments.
• Assist the Chef to store leftover food, sauces from Buffet according to the established procedures.

• Assisting the chef in maintaining the level of stock for the food preparation materials, and recommending the proper types of material.
• Supervising the Cleaning and maintains work areas, equipment and cold rooms to keep all areas clean a proper to execute cooking operations.
• Assists the Chef in performance of all his duties and help him to manage the team of kitchen.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities which might be assigned from time to time by the Exec.
• Chef or the Chef without questioning or grumbling.
• Ensure that the equipment are correctly handled and maintained from the kitchen staff and used
• Train and guide employees in his section/area the “Clear as you Go” method of working.
• Complies with Health and Safety Policy.
• Cooperate and communicate with your colleagues, Supervisors and Management to ensure effective departmental team work and high morale.
• Follow all procedure set up for the protection of the environment within the Nayya
• Perform related duties and special projects as assigned from Executive chef and chef.
• Reporting to the Sous and Head Pastry Chef, and provide him with recommendation to develop the performance of the Kitchen (Cooking section/area
