Qualifications:
- At least 5 years of professional experience in accounting and finance.
- Experience handling VAT and Net Profit Tax (Corporate Income Tax).
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax compliance.
- Ability to prepare, review, and reconcile financial statements and accounting records.
- Experience in preparing tax computations, returns, and supporting documentation.
- Proficiency in financial analysis, account reconciliation, and general ledger management.
- Good understanding of budgeting, cash flow monitoring, and cost control.
- Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in financial documentation.
- Ability to maintain organized accounting records and meet reporting deadlines.
- Good communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and coordinate effectively with management and other stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Manage daily accounting and finance operations in accordance with established procedures and applicable regulations.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, ledgers, journals, and supporting documentation.
- Prepare financial statements, management reports, and other accounting reports as required.
- Prepare, review, and submit tax returns and supporting documents within applicable deadlines.
- Handle VAT calculations, reporting, reconciliation, and compliance requirements.
- Prepare and manage Net Profit Tax (Corporate Income Tax) computations and related tax filings.
- Monitor accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash flow, and general ledger transactions.
- Reconcile bank statements, accounts, and financial records to ensure accuracy.
- Review financial transactions and supporting documents for completeness and compliance.
- Assist in preparing annual budgets, financial forecasts, and expenditure reports.
- Analyze financial data and provide management with reports and recommendations.
- Monitor expenses, identify discrepancies, and support cost-control initiatives.
- Ensure accounting records and tax documentation are properly organized and maintained.
- Assist with internal and external audits and provide requested financial information.
- Monitor changes in applicable accounting standards, tax regulations, and financial reporting requirements.
- Coordinate with management, auditors, tax authorities, and other relevant parties on accounting and tax matters.
- Identify accounting irregularities and recommend corrective actions.
- Maintain confidentiality and safeguard sensitive financial information.
- Perform other accounting and finance duties assigned by management.
