Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a Cashier in a restaurant, café, hotel, retail, or food service establishment is preferred.
• Excellent numerical skills with the ability to handle cash accurately.
• Familiarity with Point-of-Sale (POS) systems is an advantage.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Honest, dependable, and detail-oriented.
• Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Professional appearance and positive attitude.
• Basic computer skills are an advantage.

Responsibilities:

• Welcome customers warmly and provide friendly, professional service.
• Accurately process cash, credit card, debit card, and digital payment transactions using the Point-of-Sale (POS) system.
• Issue receipts, refunds, and change while ensuring transaction accuracy.
• Balance the cash register at the beginning and end of each shift.
• Handle customer inquiries regarding bills, payments, menu items, and promotions.
• Coordinate with kitchen and service staff to ensure orders are processed correctly.
• Maintain accurate records of daily sales and prepare cash reports when required.
• Assist in taking food and beverage orders during busy periods.
• Promote menu items, special offers, and loyalty programs to customers.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cashier counter and front service area.
• Ensure sufficient cash, receipt paper, and other cashier supplies are available.
• Follow company policies, cash handling procedures, and food safety regulations.
• Assist with other front-of-house duties as assigned by supervisors.
