Saolah Restaurant is seeking an experienced and customer-oriented Bartender to join its food and beverage team in Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of beverages, taking customer orders, maintaining the bar area, and ensuring consistent quality, cleanliness, and efficient beverage service.

BARTENDER

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience.
• At least a high school graduate.
• Previous experience as a Bartender in a restaurant, hotel, bar, or similar food and beverage establishment.
• Knowledge of beverage preparation, drink presentation, and bar service procedures.
• Ability to prepare beverages accurately according to recipes and customer preferences.
• Good customer service and communication skills.
• Knowledge of proper bar cleanliness, sanitation, and equipment handling.
• Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced food and beverage environment.
• Physically fit and capable of standing and working for extended periods.
• Good teamwork, organization, attention to detail, and time-management skills.
• Male applicants are preferred for this role.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve cocktails, mixed drinks, beer, wine, spirits, and non-alcoholic beverages as applicable to the establishment.
• Take customer beverage orders accurately and provide knowledgeable recommendations based on customer preferences.
• Prepare drinks according to established recipes, service standards, and customer requests.
• Ensure consistency in drink quality, portioning, presentation, and preparation.
• Operate bar equipment, tools, and beverage preparation equipment safely and correctly.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and beverage service area.
• Clean and sanitize glassware, utensils, equipment, counters, and work surfaces regularly.
• Check beverage inventory and replenish supplies as needed.
• Monitor stock levels of beverages, garnishes, ice, glassware, and other bar supplies.
• Properly store beverages, ingredients, and bar supplies according to workplace procedures.
• Maintain an organized and well-prepared bar before, during, and after service.
• Follow proper hygiene, sanitation, food safety, and workplace safety procedures.
• Handle bar equipment and supplies carefully to prevent damage and accidents.
• Process customer orders and payments accurately when required.
• Coordinate with restaurant servers, kitchen staff, supervisors, and other team members to ensure smooth service.
• Respond to customer requests and concerns in a courteous and professional manner.
• Maintain a clean and professional appearance throughout the shift.
• Assist with inventory counting and report shortages or damaged supplies to the supervisor.
• Follow company policies, service procedures, and instructions from management.
• Perform other beverage service and bar-related duties as assigned.
