Barista

Qualifications:

• Applicants aged 24 to 40 years old.
• At least two (2) years of relevant work experience as a Barista or in a similar coffee shop, café, or food and beverage service role.
• Good knowledge of coffee preparation methods, espresso-based drinks, and common beverage recipes.
• Familiarity with operating espresso machines, coffee grinders, blenders, and other beverage preparation equipment.
• Ability to prepare and serve coffee, tea, and other beverages according to quality and presentation standards.
• Good customer service and communication skills.
• Knowledge of proper food handling, hygiene, and sanitation practices.
• Friendly, attentive, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to maintain cleanliness and organization of the beverage preparation area.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve coffee, espresso-based drinks, tea, and other beverages according to established recipes and customer preferences.
• Operate and maintain espresso machines, coffee grinders, blenders, and other beverage preparation equipment.
• Grind coffee beans, extract espresso shots, steam milk, and prepare beverages with consistent quality and presentation.
• Take customer orders, answer questions about the menu, and recommend suitable beverages.
• Ensure that all drinks are prepared accurately and served promptly.
• Monitor coffee, milk, syrups, and other beverage supplies and inform the supervisor when stocks need replenishment.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of coffee machines, utensils, counters, and beverage preparation areas.
• Follow proper food safety, hygiene, and beverage handling procedures.
• Handle customer requests and concerns courteously and professionally.
• Assist with inventory checks, stock organization, and daily sales transactions when assigned.
• Perform opening and closing duties and ensure that the coffee station is properly prepared for operations.
