LIT SMART HOME is hiring an Automation Technician in Kuwait. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, configuring, troubleshooting, and maintaining smart home automation systems and connected devices, ensuring reliable operation and proper integration across home networks and control platforms.

AUTOMATION TECHNICIAN

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant working experience as an Automation Technician, Smart Home Technician, Home Automation Technician, or in a similar technical position.
  • No minimum educational attainment is required for this position.
  • Must have practical experience installing, configuring, troubleshooting, and maintaining smart home automation systems and connected devices.
  • Must have knowledge of Wi-Fi, network connections, device connectivity, control hubs, mobile applications, and smart home platforms.
  • Must be capable of programming and customizing smart home scenes, schedules, automations, and user controls.
  • Must have good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Must be able to work independently and as part of a technical team.
  • Male applicants are preferred for this position.

Responsibilities:

  • Install, configure, test, and maintain smart home automation systems and connected devices.
  • Install and troubleshoot smart lighting systems, switches, sensors, thermostats, door locks, security cameras, and other smart home devices.
  • Configure Wi-Fi networks, network connections, and device connectivity to ensure reliable communication between smart devices.
  • Set up and integrate smart home systems with control hubs, mobile applications, voice assistants, and home networks.
  • Program and customize smart home scenes, schedules, automations, routines, and user controls according to client requirements.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot connectivity, configuration, hardware, and software issues affecting smart home systems.
  • Test installed systems and devices to ensure proper functionality, performance, and integration.
  • Provide basic technical guidance to clients regarding the operation and use of smart home systems.
  • Perform preventive maintenance and system updates when required.
  • Maintain accurate records of installations, configurations, repairs, and system modifications.
  • Follow electrical, network, equipment-handling, and workplace safety procedures.
  • Perform other technical duties assigned by the supervisor or management.
