Australian Skilled Migration is seeking highly skilled Auto Electricians to join automotive service and installation teams in Australia. The successful candidate will specialize in the installation, diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of advanced 12V automotive electrical systems and accessories, particularly for 4×4 touring and camping vehicles.

Auto Electrician

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years relevant working experience as an Auto Electrician.
  • Must have completed at least 1 year of college or a 1-year vocational course.
  • Proven experience installing and wiring the following:
    • 12V to 220V Power Inverters
    • Dual 12V Battery Systems
    • Anderson Plugs
    • Electric Winches
    • Rear-Mounted Fridges
    • Complete 4×4 Touring/Camping Electrical Setups
  • Must be able to diagnose and troubleshoot automotive electrical systems effectively.
  • Must provide work photos and videos demonstrating actual electrical installations performed.
  • Strong understanding of automotive electrical systems, wiring, and fault-finding techniques.
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining high standards of workmanship and safety.

Responsibilities:

  • Install and wire complete 12V automotive electrical systems and accessories in accordance with manufacturer specifications and industry standards.
  • Install and configure 12V to 220V power inverters, dual battery systems, Anderson plugs, electric winches, rear-mounted fridges, and complete 4×4 touring/camping electrical setups.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot faults in automotive electrical systems using appropriate diagnostic equipment.
  • Perform testing, repairs, and preventive maintenance on vehicle electrical components and accessories.
  • Read and interpret electrical wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals.
  • Ensure all electrical installations comply with safety and quality standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of repairs, installations, and completed work.
  • Keep work areas clean and ensure proper care of tools and equipment.
