PINOY 385 D.O.O. is seeking passionate and hardworking Assistant Cooks for deployment to Croatia. The successful candidate will assist in preparing Mediterranean, Italian, Western, and Japanese cuisine while maintaining high standards of food quality, cleanliness, and kitchen safety.  

ASSISTANT COOK

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 2 year(s) of working experience is required.
• Candidates must be at least a high school graduate.
• Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Previous experience in a kitchen, restaurant, or food service environment is preferred.
• Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and proper food handling procedures.
• Vocational training or a culinary certificate is an advantage.
• Responsible, hardworking, organized, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook menu items according to the Head Cook’s instructions and standardized recipes.
• Use various cooking techniques such as grilling, sautéing, frying, and other food preparation methods.
• Monitor food temperature, quality, taste, and presentation throughout the cooking process.
• Plate and present meals according to established recipes and presentation standards.
• Receive, organize, and properly store food deliveries and kitchen supplies.
• Monitor inventory levels and report low-stock or needed ingredients to the supervisor.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen work areas, equipment, utensils, and floors in accordance with food safety and hygiene standards.
