ARTISANAL BAKER

Qualifications:

• Have strong experience in producing handcrafted bread using traditional techniques.
• Possess excellent knowledge of dough preparation and proofing.
• Are enthusiastic, committed, and eager to learn.
• Can perform physically demanding tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Are reliable, methodical, and well-organised.
• Enjoy working as part of a team and contributing to a positive work environment

Responsibilities:

• Operate ovens and manage the baking process to ensure optimal results.
• Prepare and mix dough according to standardised recipes and production requirements.
• Monitor and check provers, scoring, glazing, and shaping doughs.
• Assist with cleaning and maintaining bread baskets and other bakery equipment.
• Step into viennoiserie production when necessary to support colleagues
• Ensure all baked goods meet high-quality standards and align with daily orders.
• Work collaboratively with the team to execute production plans efficiently.
• Adapt to high-volume production while maintaining artisan baking methods.
• Maintain a clean, organised workstation and handle equipment with care.
• Follow all food hygiene and safety regulations in accordance with UK legislation and company policies.
