Administrative Assistant (Job Cost and Production)

Qualifications:

  • Computer literacy (Microsoft Office, Internet, etc.) required. Specific software literacy (Bluebeam, Oracle and Autodesk Build etc.) preferred
  • Work experience in the warehouse management or construction industry preferred
  • Knowledge of best accounting practices, job cost reporting, project production reporting, understanding of budgets, expenses, WIP reporting, job cost analysis and forensic accounting/reconciliation
  • General building and construction materials, methods, systems, design and construction documentation, codes, and costs involved in the construction or repair of buildings and other structures to assist in cost estimate and proposal development.
  • Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, designing forms, and other office procedures and terminology.
  • Knowledge in cost management and accounting system, software, and process.
  • Demonstrates active listening and reading comprehension skills to facilitate the understanding of work-related documents and answering inquiries as needed.
  • Demonstrates time management and critical thinking skills to facilitate solution implementation and monitoring.
  • Business and/or administrative/accounting college coursework preferred
  • Two or more years (or equivalent) administrative, accounting and project management support work experience preferred.

  • This position is responsible for assisting and supporting the Self Perform Electrical Department and teams in overseeing project costs, production, and progress
  • This position will be responsible in tracking of expenses, budget, facilitating project meetings, managing documentation, and ensuring seamless communication, while upholding RQ’s Mission, Vision, and Value
