Seacrest Maritime Management Inc. is a duly Licensed Manning Company under the Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA) authorization with its full license valid until March 29, 2020.
With full operations in early 2006,our company’s primary thrust is to provide our Clients a full range of Crew Management Services that is customized to the Principals crewing needs.
Our processes and procedures are anchored in our Quality Management System duly audited and certified by Det Norske Veritas (DNV) under the requirements of ISO 9001:2008 Standards and compliant to the provisions of Maritime Labour Convention 2006 for Private Recruitment and Placement services.

The company’s crewing operations are led by ex-senior sea-going officers with good extensive experience on various types of vessels including crewing and training works.

Crew Management Services
Seacrest works closely with Owners/Managers to deliver the agreed Crew Management Services in accordance to the signed manning agreement. This is to ensure that the Principal requirements are complied, monitored and managed by our assigned Crewing personnel.
The key parts of these deliverables to our Owners/ Managers are in the areas of:
- Recruitment, selection and deployment of approved crew
- Management of rotation plans
- Building up good retention rate levels
- Crew Documentation processing
- Travel coordination including applicable visa applications
- Training & Career development coordination
- Crew Allotment handling
- Crew and Family welfare program coordination
Training and Development Philosophy
Seacrest adheres to the philosophy that Company Training Schemes and Crew (Officers and Ratings) Development Programs are the cornerstone of a safe and effective operation both on board ships and ashore.
Seacrest cooperates closely with Owners and Managers in implementing such training & development programs in ensuring that this is properly managed and monitored.
Delivery of new mode of crew trainings such as E-learning, CBT, access to Competence Development and Training Platform can be implemented for the specific Principals thru Seacrest as part of separate agreements between Seacrest and the Owners/Managers.
Officers and Crew annual conferences in Manila are encouraged to be arranged on regular basis in accordance to this philosophy.

Qualifications for Job Applicants
The agency ensure that only Filipino workers are qualified and medically-fit are deployed. Hence, Filipino workers are medically examined by government-accredited medical clinics or hospitals and trade-tested or trained by training centers authorized by the government.
- Qualification of Seafarers – Only seafarers certified as competent and qualified shall work, be employed or be engaged onboard a ship.
- Minimum Age – No person below eighteen (18) years old shall work, be employed or be engaged onboard a ship.
- Medical Certification – The seafarer shall hold a valid medical certificate issued by a medical facility duly accredited by the Department of Health (DOH) for that purpose, in accordance with its existing rules and regulations.
