Phoenix Maritime Corporation was established to provide crew manning services by supplying qualified seafarers to man ocean-going vessels for international trade. These services include, among others, crew management, handling and management of P & I cases and claims for its Principals, supply of safety and personal gears, recreational materials and other vessel supplies requested by Principals, crew training and upgrading seminars and other support services which the Principals may request from time to time.

Qualifications for Job Applicants
The agency ensure that only Filipino workers are qualified and medically-fit are deployed. Hence, Filipino workers are medically examined by government-accredited medical clinics or hospitals and trade-tested or trained by training centers authorized by the government.
- Qualification of Seafarers – Only seafarers certified as competent and qualified shall work, be employed or be engaged onboard a ship.
- Minimum Age – No person below eighteen (18) years old shall work, be employed or be engaged onboard a ship.
- Medical Certification – The seafarer shall hold a valid medical certificate issued by a medical facility duly accredited by the Department of Health (DOH) for that purpose, in accordance with its existing rules and regulations.
