Established as a Manning and Ship Management Company, Philsynergy Maritime, Inc.(PSMI) embarked on its journey on March 29, 2007 with three state of the art vessels owned by NISSEN Company.
With SEC Company Registration no: CS200704934, the manning operations commenced upon securing the POEA LICENSE (POEA-008-SB-073107-PL) on August 3, 2007.
Thereafter, vessels manned increased gradually and subsequently, ship management started its operations upon acquiring its Ship Management Business Registration from MARINA with Certificate No. 186-08-01-23-005 on January 24, 2008. Currently, the company forecasts a promising future at par with local and international competitors as it continues to increase its number of operational vessels, acquire international accreditations, diversify and develop its human resources, and give superior stability to its shareholders.
Qualifications for Job Applicants
The agency ensure that only Filipino workers are qualified and medically-fit are deployed. Hence, Filipino workers are medically examined by government-accredited medical clinics or hospitals and trade-tested or trained by training centers authorized by the government.
- Qualification of Seafarers – Only seafarers certified as competent and qualified shall work, be employed or be engaged onboard a ship.
- Minimum Age – No person below eighteen (18) years old shall work, be employed or be engaged onboard a ship.
- Medical Certification – The seafarer shall hold a valid medical certificate issued by a medical facility duly accredited by the Department of Health (DOH) for that purpose, in accordance with its existing rules and regulations.
