Philsunrise Maritime, Inc. is a duly authorized manning agency located at Alabang, Muntinlupa City. The company was established primarily to recruit Filipino seafarers to man Panama flagged vessels. It launched its voyage on June 21, 2012 with four state of the art vessels owned by Nissen company namely, M/V Nord Cassiopeia, M/V Kitaura, M/V Trust Star and M/V Nord Savannah. It was incorporated by the Securities & Exchange Commission on the 20th day of February 2012 under the registration number CS201203202 and licensed by the Department of Labor and Employment through the Philippine Overseas Employment Administration on the 21st day of June 2012 with the Provisional License Number POEA-005-SB-061512-PL.

Qualifications for Job Applicants
The agency ensure that only Filipino workers are qualified and medically-fit are deployed. Hence, Filipino workers are medically examined by government-accredited medical clinics or hospitals and trade-tested or trained by training centers authorized by the government.
- Qualification of Seafarers – Only seafarers certified as competent and qualified shall work, be employed or be engaged onboard a ship.
- Minimum Age – No person below eighteen (18) years old shall work, be employed or be engaged onboard a ship.
- Medical Certification – The seafarer shall hold a valid medical certificate issued by a medical facility duly accredited by the Department of Health (DOH) for that purpose, in accordance with its existing rules and regulations.
