Marsun is 40 Year-Old shipbuilder and leader in the naval ship.
Since 1980, Marsun has delivered over 319 various types of vessels from 30 to 200 feet long to customers worldwide. These include Passenger Ferries, Motor Yachts, Sailing Yachts, Fast Patrol Craft, Research Vessels, Landing Craft, and Oil – Spill Recovery Vessels.
With experienced in-house engineering team, we can build a custom aluminium and steel vessel as owners’ desires. And we provide ship repair service for all request, modification, conversion, and afloat repair.
Qualifications for Job Applicants
The agency ensure that only Filipino workers are qualified and medically-fit are deployed. Hence, Filipino workers are medically examined by government-accredited medical clinics or hospitals and trade-tested or trained by training centers authorized by the government.
- Qualification of Seafarers – Only seafarers certified as competent and qualified shall work, be employed or be engaged onboard a ship.
- Minimum Age – No person below eighteen (18) years old shall work, be employed or be engaged onboard a ship.
- Medical Certification – The seafarer shall hold a valid medical certificate issued by a medical facility duly accredited by the Department of Health (DOH) for that purpose, in accordance with its existing rules and regulations.
