We focus on Hiring ,retention and Promotion We focus on the competence and skillset development of all Filipino crew. Our facility is a state of the art full mission simulator both for deck and machinery spaces using 30 and walk through systems to be more realistic. We are the first one to develop the Augmented reality training (AR ) using Hololens in order for the crew to appreciate the realism. We focus on practical assessment in an objective based program to ensure the HRP.
Technical Capabilities
Our Affiliate is the first recognized by the Philippines Govt. in the sector of Maritime Safety and Security. This subsidiary is called National Maritime Safety and Security Agency Inc. (NAM SSA) The first RSO and RO in the Philippines recognized to do certain functions, delegation and authorization in their behalf. Namssa has a capability to support web data for ships movement anywhere in the world. Namssa has 100 auditors at the moment for ISM, ISPS and MLC to all Philippine flag vessels training domestically, including all ports, ships, shipping companies and shipyards.
Qualifications for Job Applicants
The agency ensure that only Filipino workers are qualified and medically-fit are deployed. Hence, Filipino workers are medically examined by government-accredited medical clinics or hospitals and trade-tested or trained by training centers authorized by the government.
- Qualification of Seafarers – Only seafarers certified as competent and qualified shall work, be employed or be engaged onboard a ship.
- Minimum Age – No person below eighteen (18) years old shall work, be employed or be engaged onboard a ship.
- Medical Certification – The seafarer shall hold a valid medical certificate issued by a medical facility duly accredited by the Department of Health (DOH) for that purpose, in accordance with its existing rules and regulations.
