Hartmann Crew Philippines Inc. (HCP) is a POEA-licensed manning agency compliant to ISO 9001:2015 with 3,500 global maritime professionals on a fleet of over 150 vessels roving in active service to man its different vessel types including: product tankers, container ships, multi-purpose vessels, bulk carriers, Liquified Petroleum Gas carriers , Liquified Ethane Gas carriers, cement carriers, and coasters.

Since its inception in 2002, Hartmann Crew Philippines (HCP) was formerly known as Associated Ship Management (ASM). For thirteen years it carried that name up until 2015 when it re-branded to become Hartmann Crew Philippines.
The change in name was an initiative to align the company with its principal partner in Germany: Hartmann AG and to reaffirm its membership to the Hartmann Group . The new name paved the way for the actions of HCP as it moves forward and progresses alongside a new era of shipping. There has been no change in management or in the values upheld by the company.

Qualifications for Job Applicants
The agency ensure that only Filipino workers are qualified and medically-fit are deployed. Hence, Filipino workers are medically examined by government-accredited medical clinics or hospitals and trade-tested or trained by training centers authorized by the government.
- Qualification of Seafarers – Only seafarers certified as competent and qualified shall work, be employed or be engaged onboard a ship.
- Minimum Age – No person below eighteen (18) years old shall work, be employed or be engaged onboard a ship.
- Medical Certification – The seafarer shall hold a valid medical certificate issued by a medical facility duly accredited by the Department of Health (DOH) for that purpose, in accordance with its existing rules and regulations.
