Established in Manila, 15th March 1993 as “Agemar Manning Agency, Inc.”, it was renamed into “Eastern Mediterranean Manning Agency Inc.” on the 14th February 2014. “Eastern Mediterranean Manning Agency Inc.” acts as the exclusive manning agent in Philippines for “Eastern Mediterranean Maritime Limited.”

Qualifications for Job Applicants
The agency ensure that only Filipino workers are qualified and medically-fit are deployed. Hence, Filipino workers are medically examined by government-accredited medical clinics or hospitals and trade-tested or trained by training centers authorized by the government.
- Qualification of Seafarers – Only seafarers certified as competent and qualified shall work, be employed or be engaged onboard a ship.
- Minimum Age – No person below eighteen (18) years old shall work, be employed or be engaged onboard a ship.
- Medical Certification – The seafarer shall hold a valid medical certificate issued by a medical facility duly accredited by the Department of Health (DOH) for that purpose, in accordance with its existing rules and regulations.
