It was organized to undertake comprehensive handling, management and manning of different types of ocean-going vessels for and on behalf of Capital Ship Management Corp. and Capital-Executive Ship Management Corp., in accordance with the requirements of the International Labour Organization’s Maritime Labour Convention, 2006 (MLC 2006), striving to establish a good name in the industry by providing efficient, reliable, competent and properly trained seafarers to its principals. In provision of these services, CSPI is ever mindful of the standards of the International Maritime Organization (IMO), as set out in its various resolutions and conventions, with a goal to remain at the forefront of progress in matters of the administration of sea staff provided to its Principals.

Qualifications for Job Applicants
The agency ensure that only Filipino workers are qualified and medically-fit are deployed. Hence, Filipino workers are medically examined by government-accredited medical clinics or hospitals and trade-tested or trained by training centers authorized by the government.
- Qualification of Seafarers – Only seafarers certified as competent and qualified shall work, be employed or be engaged onboard a ship.
- Minimum Age – No person below eighteen (18) years old shall work, be employed or be engaged onboard a ship.
- Medical Certification – The seafarer shall hold a valid medical certificate issued by a medical facility duly accredited by the Department of Health (DOH) for that purpose, in accordance with its existing rules and regulations.
