Assistant Warehouse Executive

Qualifications:

• Relevant experience in warehouse operations, inventory control, logistics, or supply chain is preferred.
• Knowledge of receiving, storing, picking, packing, and dispatching procedures.
• Familiarity with inventory management and stock control systems.
• Ability to maintain accurate warehouse and inventory records.
• Good organizational and time-management skills.
• Strong attention to detail when checking quantities, documents, and stock.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Excel or warehouse management systems are an advantage.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Physically capable of performing warehouse-related duties.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Reliable, organized, and safety-conscious.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in managing daily warehouse operations and activities.
• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials, products, and supplies.
• Check quantities, specifications, and supporting documents against purchase orders and delivery documents.
• Assist with proper storage, labeling, and organization of warehouse items.
• Monitor inventory levels and maintain accurate stock records.
• Prepare materials and products for dispatch according to approved orders and delivery schedules.
• Coordinate with logistics, production, purchasing, and other departments regarding warehouse requirements.
• Assist with stock counting, cycle counts, and physical inventory activities.
• Investigate and report stock discrepancies, damaged goods, shortages, and excess inventory.
• Ensure proper documentation of receiving, issuing, transferring, and dispatching materials.
• Update warehouse records and inventory systems accurately.
• Follow proper FIFO/FEFO procedures where applicable.
• Assist in maintaining an organized, clean, and safe warehouse environment.
• Ensure materials are handled and stored safely to prevent damage or loss.
• Monitor warehouse equipment and report maintenance or safety issues.
• Follow company policies, warehouse procedures, health and safety regulations, and inventory controls.
• Prepare warehouse reports and maintain accurate operational records.
• Assist the Warehouse Executive or Supervisor with other warehouse-related tasks as assigned.
