MASSAGE THERAPIST
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of working experience is required.
- Candidate must be a Vocational Diploma / Short Course Certificate holder in any field or similar fields.
- Experience in therapeutic massage techniques such as deep tissue, Swedish, prenatal, and hot stone massage.
- Ability to assess client medical background, symptoms, posture, joints, and soft tissues.
- Strong knowledge of client care, safety, and wellness practices.
- Ability to design and apply individualized treatment plans.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of hygiene, sanitation, and workplace safety standards.
- Ability to maintain professionalism in a wellness or spa environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assess clients’ medical history, symptoms, and therapy goals before treatment.
- Evaluate posture, joints, and soft tissues to identify tension and pain points.
- Perform various massage techniques based on client needs and treatment plans.
- Provide post-treatment advice and recommendations to clients.
- Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and safety of treatment areas and equipment.
- Ensure all treatments are delivered safely and professionally.
- Keep accurate client records and treatment notes.
- Promote client relaxation, recovery, and overall well-being.
- Follow all spa policies, procedures, and health regulations.
- Maintain a calm, professional, and client-focused service environment.
